Check-In InformationAll teams will need to check in ONLINE starting 01/24/23-01/25/23. Any roster changes or adjustments after 1/25 will need to be emailed to Adriane Wheat at awheatap@gmail.com Since this is a JVA event, coaches must have a JVA background screen and APS training to be put on a roster. Please do this now! The background screens can take some time to get back, and coaches cannot be entered on the roster without verification.Tournament Information & ScheduleAll matches will be played at Finley Center, Hoover, Alabama5508 Stadium Trace ParkwayHoover, AL 35244  COACHES MEETING: There will not be a coach’s meeting. The schedule will be found in AES, and all information is attached to the Tournament Guidelines Document that will be sent on Wednesday. ADMISSION/PARKING: Spectator admission is $15/day (plus tax and fee) or $25/weekend. CREDIT CARD SALES ONLY (cashless facility). Children 10 and under are free. Armbands will be sold online Saturday and Sunday at the main entrance starting at 7 am. The doors will not open prior to this time ENTRANCES: Coaches and athletes, who are already banded and tagged will be asked to enter the building through a side door. Please make sure that you follow the A-Frame signs directing you where to go. TRAINERS: Our certified trainers, provided by Drayer Physical Therapy, will be present during all of our hosted events. Please look for them in the vestibule between glass doors leading to the sand court. This is on the opposite side of the gym from the classrooms and long hallway. AES and PAPERLESS: Please view all brackets online at www.advancedeventsystems.com.  Brackets will populate after wave play is complete and results verified. Please be certain to check your results and the next day’s schedule prior to leaving the Finely Center on Saturday and again Sunday AM. We will call/text any coaches with any last-minute changes IF we have their cell numbers on the roster. WORK TEAMS (REF DUTIES): Be sure you know your team’s officiating duties for pool play on Saturday and for Sunday bracket play. Some teams will have to ref the match prior to playing for the 8 am matches. Please have your team AND coach on the court by 7:40 am. Failure to be on time can result in sanctions (points lost in your next match). If you miss your assignment, you may forfeit your next match. Once bracket play begins, if you lose you WILL ref the next match. Failure to remain and the ref will result in the team and/or club sanctions. Some teams may ref multiple matches Sunday. SCORE TABLES: Music and cell phones are NOT allowed while working the score table. No snacks/drinks on the score table. A coach/team rep needs to remain at the table for 14U, and at the court for 15U and up. If requested by the referee, even coaches for older teams may be asked to stay at the score table if they feel it is necessary. FOOD & COOLERS: No outside food or coolers are allowed in the Finely Center. No team food tables are allowed inside the hallways. The concessions offer a variety of food options and can be found down the long hallway behind the blue doors. Players will be allowed to bring water/sports drinks in their bags. No outside chairs or seating is allowed to be brought into the facility. LOST & FOUND:  Lost and found box is located at the tournament desk by courts 8/16. All unclaimed items are donated to charity after Sunday night. TEAM GATHERING: No teams may camp out (bags, blankets, pillows) in the concession area, on the track, or in the halls. CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS/PHOTOS: Gold Division champions in each age group (open and club) will receive awards at the tournament desk.  RECRUITING: BallerTV will be used at all tournaments hosted by Alabama Performance.
